RESEARCH DATA:

Cordillera that use bead embellishments, the Ga’dang people have developed bead embroidery, which is commonly found on their garments. This beadwork tradition is characterized by its complexity and intricacy, often featuring tassel beads, beaded fringes, and embroidered beads on the textiles.
Featured on this red, narrow, plain-woven loincloth, or abag, are two sets of embroidered white and yellow beads, along with a beaded fringe adorned with tassel beads. The addition of beadwork on this loincloth enhances the quality of the plain-woven textile.
