Weaponry
Weapons are often associated with intergroup conflicts and wars, and they are conventionally confined to those contexts. However, in many cases, weapons can also be linked to other human activities that go beyond warfare, such as serving as ritual objects, utilitarian tools in everyday life, status markers, heirloom items, and more. This collection of weaponry from the Luzon Cordillera and Caraballo mountains includes metal blades and wooden items, some embellished with intricate wickerwork and carvings, which enhance the aesthetic value of the items.
