Stories

Beyond a home for the Mercedes Zobel Collection of Indigenous Philippine Textiles & Objects, the Bahay Ugnayan Research Center is a working space for research, residencies, dialogue, and collaboration.

From visits by cultural bearers and master artisans to workshops, research partnerships, and everyday discoveries within the collection, these stories document the life of the center and the many ways our objects come into conversation with communities, scholars, and the wider world.

Each is a record of the work as it unfolds: what we host, what we learn, and how heritage connects to living practice and new knowledge.
