RESEARCH DATA:
A woven document holder is a version of the upig from Ifugao. Upig is commonly used to carry personal items such as supplies for betel-chewing or, in this case, documents. It is tucked into the top of the lower garment of its owner when traveling (Hamilton, 1998).
