RESEARCH DATA:

Among the Kankana-ey and Ibaloy ethnic groups, deceased individuals hold significant importance within the community. They are interred in wooden coffins adorned with carved images of carabao heads, incised lizards, and sometimes lids secured with anthropomorphic pegs.
