RESEARCH DATA:

The traditional rice harvesters in the Cordillera use a tool called rakem/lakem (Applay and Bontoc), lakom (Kalinga), also called raketa (Itneg), raka (Isnag), langket (Barlig), and gamulang (Ifugao), gamulang or khamulang in Ifugao. These particular tools came from Bontoc, Mountain Province.
