Rain Protection

The tropical location of Luzon Cordillera was pivotal to the creation of specialized items like rain gear. Intricately woven with a combination of various water-repellant vines, the material transformed these to protect the body from rain, to transport crops during the harvest season and to effectively protect the rice seedlings to hold their roots and soil coating together before they are transplanted to the field. These types of baskets are known for both their aesthetics and function.
