RESEARCH DATA:

This woven rattan shoulder bag, also called kalupit, is common to Bontoc. It varies in shape and size. It is woven using rattan strips and has a saddle shape to fit the contours of its wearer’s underarms or waist when worn. The owner commonly uses it as a container for betel nuts and other personal belongings.
