RESEARCH DATA:

A basket used for collecting fish and shells. It is worn by women during rice cultivation. It is secured by a cord tied around the hips as it hangs from the lower back (Bacdayan, 1974). This basket is used as a container in the rice field for mollusks and snails caught in the field.
