This ikat blanket is another innovation on traditional Ifugao blankets, such as the kinnuttiyan and the inlah’dang, which were traditionally reserved for the affluent in Ifugao society. The blanket features repetitive patterns reminiscent of the tinonwey, an Ifugao loincloth worn by the kadangyan.
