The tafayag, also known as a lime container, is a tiny tube that connects a hollow cane via a receptacle. It can be crafted from various materials such as finely woven rattan and nito fibres, animal bone, wood, coconut shell, animal horn, or animal scrotum. This particular lime container is made of bamboo, with intricate tattoo markings etched onto its surface. Additionally, it is adorned with glass beads in red, white, yellow, and black, the traditional colours of the Ga’dang ethnolinguistic group found in Paracelis, Mountain Province.
