RESEARCH DATA:

An inagkuling or inagkoling is a traditional female belt used among the Ibaloy and Kankana-ey communities. It features a white plain-woven base, adorned with vertically arranged, stripe-like checkered patterns in red and black. Some variants feature a honeycomb design. Worn around the waist, the belt provides support to the hips and secures garments in place. When tied, its fringes hang at the back of the wearer.
