RESEARCH DATA:

The Ga’dang women would use this as an additional adornment for the head. This is embellished with colourful beads and stitched on a piece of cloth as a form of embroidery. According to Maramba (1998), the Ga’dang are fond of decorating their clothes with beads, shells, buttons and coins, covering a large part of their clothes with ornaments as part of their aesthetics.
