RESEARCH DATA:

Ga’dang Women can be identified by their paingas, according to Maramba (1998). The painga is hanging from brass lingling-o that has been placed within the ear lobes. To prevent the earlobes from becoming unnecessarily stretched, the string of bead outfits that runs behind the neck and across the ears helps to relieve any weight on them.
