RESEARCH DATA:

A beaded headband, known as galantia or binakaw, consisting of a double strand of beads used by affluent Ga’dang women (Maramba, 1998). The Ga’dang ethnic group is known for adorning their clothing with colourful and beaded ensembles. This type is an intricate ensemble of fourteen or more rows of threads with beads in red, yellow, black, and white.
