In some Itneg or Tingguian communities, particularly in lower Abra, these beads are known as batek, butbuttok, or futfuttok (Jimenez & Sabado, 2017), while in upper Abra, the term sillot is also used. Others refer to them simply as embroidery beads, the same type used in their arm adornments known as tinali.
