Blades and Shields
This assemblage of weaponry items from the Cordillera and Caraballo mountains, used by various ethnic groups, showcases their multifunctionality. Some items serve as tools for warfare, while others are used in ceremonial dances or agricultural practices, all of which may signify the social status of their respective owners.
Reflecting the exceptional craftsmanship of their makers, these items—composed of axes and bolos, along with a shield and a spear—feature finely shaped metal blades, intricately woven wickerwork implements, and unique carvings.
