RESEARCH DATA:
The salapnot is a head cloth commonly used by the Itneg men of Abra. This salapnot has blue supplementary weft design above the fringed warp ends on a plain-woven white background. The Tinguian headcloths are often worn as a turban-like head piece with the cloth ends falling on its wearer’s shoulders and back.
